NRMP update

After winging off the Thursday, May 23rd St Adolphe update, exciting news landed: the Leclerc’s spotted a swift dropping into their chimney around dinnertime. Game on. 

Watching early afternoon on Saturday May 25th, swift activity continued at Main St – in high gear. Three entry/exit cycles by a single swift were seen in the one hour observation period. A pair routinely flew low around the house and the adjacent area. But, the “pair in the chimney” observation eluded me. Moving over to Club Amical for a comparable monitoring session, a maximum of 5 swifts were see in the air but no entries or exits took place over the hour. Clearly, the late arriving Main St swifts were busier nest building Saturday afternoon.

Clearly not a high end night for seeing much…
